			My story was featured on the Channel 11 News. Reporter Jean Elle, contacted after she had spoken to one of my modles. Ms. Elle was interested in my art and my personal story. The news segment featured an interviewed with me during a casting session with Danielle Hurwitz.

	Awards
			One of my fiberglass bust sculptures was accepted by The California Breast Cancer Research Program's art exhibit. The exhibit featured 20 other artists from around the state and was displayed at the San Diego Convention center, September 12th-14th 2003. 			In May of 04, I showed 5 pieces at the CITY ART Cooperative Gallery, and sold 2. A portion of art sales was donated to the Charlotte Maxwell Complimentary Clinic. A state licensed holistic clinic in Oakland California, providing alternative medicine treatments to low income women with cancer.

			I had sculptures featured in the exhibit Facets of Feminine at the Frank Center for the Arts in Alameda, California--March 2004. As you might have guessed by the name, Facets of Feminine is a female themed show both in the choice of artists and in my case, the subject matter.

			I had a sculpture in a show at the Cell Space Gallery in San Francisco. The exhibit, Reconstructed Constructivism was a benefit for artSF-- a group of emerging / local artists. From Oct. 20th until Nov. 10th 2003

	Events
			I have also exhibited at the Ascension Events for the last 2 years. Ascension is an annual event sponsored by the San Francisco Late Night Coalition. It is a lush combination of music, dance and visual arts and is always as vibrant as San Francisco itself. I was happy to make a contribution.
